Living in a cardboard box!

I have taken a short break from packing boxes to just say hello…..     Hello.

We are hoping to get our flat packed up before we leave to go to spain (a week today!)and i think we might do it. The boxes are getting stacked high and we are having to scramble over them just to get up and down the hall. The kids have said goodbye to nursrey and school it was a day of mixed emotions for Lee. He was glad to be leaving but was sad to say goodbye. Please pray for Lee that he will cope with changes he is making. On the other hand no such problems with Rachel she can’t wait to start "big school" and she wants to know if she can eat her lunch at school.

Johnny is in his last week at Bethany and i know it is going to be hard for him to say goodbye to such good friends.

This weekend we are going to enjoy being with family and just having fun! Happy easter to you all and enjoy celebrating the fact that God is alive and living in us!

The 9th March was our comissiong service. Family, friends and supporters came as we were comissoned. It was a really good service we would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to all who came and were involved, it was a special day for our family.emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

We are just a few weeks away from our move to All Nations we are really looking forward to it. This week i have been packing boxes so much so i have even been packing them in my sleep. Johnny has been sorting out the paperwork for our flat that we will be renting out while we are away. The kids are looking forward to Easter!!! Each year we have an egg hunt with family and it is usually a lot of fun.

We are also looking forward to the biennial in Spain. emoticon   It is somewhere we have not been before so we are looking forward to meeting friends that we have met at past ECM events.

This is just a short post and we will keep you updated soon!

What’s The Story

Sorry it has been a while since our last post, but a lot has happened. This is the story so far.

We had a meeting with ECM about how we could move forward. We have felt for a while that we have been treading water. So ECM had come up with a proposal for us. In April we will move to All Nations Bible college to do a cross cultural training course (en route). Johnny and I will both do classes together which will take 10 weeks. We will live on campus. Then after that we will move to Northampton where we will live for a year. Johnny will do a internship with a church (to be decided) and both Johnny and I will work at the ECM two days a week. This will help us to get to know the folks at ECM better and they us. As well as learning German in a more structured form and of course doing more support rasing. All of this means that we should be heading for Linz summer 2009.emoticon

We are a little worried how this in going to impact Lee and Rachel.

Lee who has had such a hard time at school the last two terms. We hope he will have an easier transition this time. But inspite what he has been through he has been very positive about this moveemoticon
Rachel who will start school. (in Scotland they don’t start until they are 5 and in Austria they don’t start until they are 6) so we were not expecting her to start school just yet but rachel is so excited about starting big school.emoticon

Johnny & Kristine will enjoy and thrive on the challanges that lie ahead.   emoticon
